"I had a good job, was successful and we had a comfortable lifestyle...On the surface things appeared fine. However, tensions developed...between my wife and her youngest stepson...I tried everything I knew to 'sort things out'...but everything failed. After months of difficulties we agreed it would be better if the family split up...

My wife and I had been exploring Christianity for a year or so. However, searching was as far as we had got...until the day came for us to work out our separation plan. I got home, dreading the meeting. I just didn't want to do this, to lose my wife or my son...but it seemed like the only option...until the Lord stepped in and took over.

Dusting the bookshelves my wife was drawn to a prayer book. She opened at the book mark and read the prayer. It spoke to her very clearly...saying that if we were to put our trust in the Lord, he could resolve the hurt and pain for us...She showed me the passage and immediately we felt the Lord's presence in the room. We turned to him in an instant and agreed that we would give him our burdens.

We have not looked back. Our lives, our family and our relationships have all been blessed beyond measure. We have lost count of the times that the Lord has 'sorted things out' for us...My wife and son are reconciled, and they are really good friends now. Praise the Lord"
