South Cheshire CLASP offers support and help to single parents and their children in Crewe and across South Cheshire. Parents can access 2 weekly drop-in sessions with a free creche, confidential counselling and courses such as cooking on a low budget and parenting. Also there are day trips, special events and the "Buzzin" group for young people in single parent families

Cheshire Neighbours Credit Union, Crewe is based in Hightown. It was started by a group of churches in response to the debt problems faced by many people in the area. It is part of a national organisation but is "owned by local people, run by local people, for local people". People save together and can apply for affordable loans. Anyone who lives or works in Crewe & Nantwich or Vale Royal Boroughs can join.
